I have lived in Cheslyn Hay for the last 47 years, in fact all my married life, and it’s a place that is very dear to my heart. In these difficult times, I want to ensure that the voice of the vibrant, welcoming community of Cheslyn Hay is heard loud and clear.
I believe in the value of giving something back, and since my retirement 8 years ago, I’ve taken on an active and highly rewarding role in the Army Cadet Force; work part time in the education sector, and in recent times I was proud to be able to help the wider community as a COVID Support Officer, covering all of the areas in South Staffordshire, including Cheslyn Hay.
The opportunity to help guide and mentor the next generation and support the local areas where I grew up is a privilege, but I want to do more. I want to maintain and improve our area for everyone's benefit. I will work tirelessly to champion the needs of the local community and endeavour to obtain the best value for money from the District Council.
I am determined to make a difference and deliver results for the people of Cheslyn Hay. I will not let my community down.
