Theo Clarke MP for Stafford was delighted to introduce a number of Stafford based businesses and regional stakeholders to Government Ministers. During their visit to Staffordshire, the Government held a ‘regional cabinet’ to discuss how legislation outlined in the Queen’s Speech will help increase economic growth and improve living standards throughout the West Midlands. Ms Clarke also spoke with the Chancellor, the Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP, and introduced him to businesses from across her Stafford Constituency.

“Following the Staffordshire Day event I recently co-hosted in Parliament, I was delighted to welcome the Prime Minister to Staffordshire to show him the wonderful opportunities our great county has to offer.
“It was fantastic to have the Cabinet in Staffordshire so that I could introduce Ministers to a wide range of Stafford based businesses and key regional stakeholders.
“I was pleased to be able to champion the work of Alun Rogers and our Local Enterprise Project to the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak MP, and I will keep making the case to the Government for increased support for people and businesses in Stafford.”
